Recent ActivityThe Spotswood Education Foundation’s purpose is to augment the financial resources available to the district in educating the children of Spotswood, Helmetta and Milltown. Our Mission is to fund new and innovative projects that benefit the district, and complement the curriculum and educational programs.
A select group of volunteers from these communities, our Trustees, is dedicated to the search for donations from private individuals, corporations and organizations. Fundraising for our mission is accomplished through individual appeals, charitable benefit events, and other means. Our activities are completely funded through private sources – no tax dollars are spent in the administration of the Foundation.
Group Announcements SEF DONATES THOUSANDSOn September 4th, the SEF presented 8 teachers from the district with funding to implement enhanced curriculum programs. The teachers were: Linda Walker, Gary Hull, Maureen McDonald, Jill Marie Harkins, Donna Danzig, Jeannie Gersten, Stacey Gordon and Mary Jo Martinez. This year's awards totalled $4268.00, a 72% increase from 2006.
SEF TO HOST CASINO NIGHTThe Spotswood Education Foundation will host a CASINO NIGHT on February 29th, 2008 at the Spotswood Knights of Columbus to benefit Spotswood Schools. Watch for details coming soon.
